The city that we love is slowly getting back to its rhythm and strength and, though we’re not ready  to host big concerts or festivals just yet, there are still plenty of ways to explore it  while socially distancing.

With everyone's well-being in mind , we’ve rounded up online resources from museums, galleries, shopping centers, theaters and other venues so that you can experience the best of Miami virtually or not so virtually. Read on and explore Miami in a safe way.

 

The Biltmore Golf Course reopened

Ready for the outdoors again? The Biltmore Golf Course reopened on April 29th, so, you can book your tee or driving range online by visiting biltmorehotel.com.
But if you prefer to stay home, you can also wander through the historic Biltmore Hotel without leaving the comfort of your couch. Featuring a sizable library of 360 degree panoramic views, the Biltmore’s virtual tour takes you through the shared guest areas from the Main Lobby ballrooms to the Palme D’Or Restaurant, the Fontana Courtyard to the Fitness Center, the Biltmore’s iconic pool and much more. Find link here.

 

The gardens are OPEN!

Vizcaya's gardens are OPEN so they are celebrating with mini tours of these beautiful outdoor spaces. Let's take a stroll through the statuary walk. They have extended hours during Fridays, closing at 7:30 p.m.

 

Frost Art Museum Virtual Exhibitions

With the museum’s 360-degree self-guided virtual tour, you can visit past and present exhibitions. MISO SOUND IN youtube

You can still enjoy Miami Symphony Orchestra on their official YouTube channel. MISO’s free YouTube offerings range from full-length performances to interviews with conductor Eduardo Marturet and an assortment of special features. Despites being temporarily closed for onsite visits, PAMM continues to offer arts and culture via its recently launched Digital Museum platform. From virtual video tours of past and present museum exhibitions to engaging videos of art talks with artists, scholars, and collectors, the Digital Museum offers a rich, accessible experience for all. More info here.


Miami Design District is ready for some fun

The nice thing about the Design District is that it is a spacious, open-air neighborhood, so people can walk around and enjoy the outdoor art and architecture and go get an ice cream cone. Restaurants and stores have been opening their doors and are ready and prepared for the safety of its clients and visitors, with free custom masks as well as 50 sanitation stations that have been placed throughout the area.

 

Wynwood Walls Virtual Gallery Tour

Wynwood wall is still clodes, but you can scope legendary street art from your living room courtesy of the Wynwood Walls Video Gallery. Through a video library of artist spotlights and special events, you can watch Wynwood Walls history unfold and witness its transformation into a sprawling outdoor gallery featuring murals by internationally renowned graffiti artists.

 

Shopping at Downtown Doral

Since May 18th, Downtown Doral retailers reopened in line with Miami-Dade County and City of Doral issued guidelines. With the wellness and safety of everybody in mind, they enhanced precautionary measures for the safety of the community.

 

Final Thoughts

To watch Miami vibrate the way we were used to may take a little bit longer, but how about we slowly recover our spaces and enjoy the city? Following the safety guidelines is the correct way to contribute so that we can get our beloved Miami back.
