It provides down payment and closing cost assistance to qualified first-time homebuyers so they can buy a primary residence in the community where they work and serve. The program also offers a lower first mortgage interest rate and special benefits for those who have served and continue to serve their country.

The funds will be available on Monday, August 18, 2025, and are expected to run out in just a few weeks.

Here are some key details of the program:

✅Buyers can receive up to 5% of the loan amount, with a maximum of $35,000, for down payment and closing cost assistance.

✅You must be a first-time homebuyer purchasing a primary residence.

✅The maximum loan amount in Miami-Dade and Broward counties is $654,350 for FHA loans and $806,500 for conventional loans.
